What do you consider an RV?

At the most basic level, an RV (Recreational Vehicle) is a camping unit with an RVIA certification sticker. This unit is designed for road travel, equipped with factory installed beds and at least two  factory land-to-vehicle service connections (electric, water, or sewer) with electric being one of the two. For example, a travel trailer, fifth wheel, RV motor home, motor coach, custom private bus, folding camper/pop-up, truck (pickup) camper and camper van are considered to be an RV.

What is the maximum size RV allowed on the campground?

We can accommodate any type of RV up to a maximum length of 38′. We have sites of different sizes, so you will need to reserve a site that your camper will fit on.

Will my reservation guarantee a specific site?

When you make your online reservation, you are reserving a specific site, which will be ready for you when you check in.

How many people are allowed to stay on a site?

A maximum of five people can stay on the site overnight. If you have a large family, we will be happy to have you stay with us, and feel free to call us for clarification. During visiting hours, from 9AM to 10PM, you can have up to five guests visit your site, for a total of ten people on your site. Additional visitor fees may apply.

Can we tent on an RV site?

You reserve an RV site for tenting, as long as the tent is the only unit on the site. We do not allow setting up a tent in addition to an RV on the site.

Can we set up a tent in addition to our RV on the site?

State regulations permit one camping unit per site, therefore, we do not allow setting up a tent in addition to an RV on the site.

Can I use my RV on a tent site?

Camping vehicles, as defined above, are not allowed to cross the creek to the tent sites. We do allow small utility trailers onto the tent sites.

Can guests visit us while we are camping?

Guests are allowed to visit between the hours of 9AM- 10PM. They will need to check in at the office, pay the relevant visitor fees and park in the visitor parking area.

Do you allow pets on the campground?

We are pet friendly, with rules in place to ensure the safety of our guests and the cleanliness of the park. If you plan on bring your pet, be sure to review the rules listed on our website. Pets are not allowed in the cabins.

What are the check in/out times?

Check in is between 3PM- 8PM. Check out is by 1PM. If you are staying in one of our cabins, check out time is by 11AM.

How is the cell phone reception on the campground?

We are situated in a wooded valley limiting cell phone reception.

Is there fishing in the creeks?

There is excellent fishing in both creeks, with trout being the most abundant.

Is there wifi in the campground?

Free wifi is available throughout the park. This system is intended for basic internet searches and email work and not for live streaming.

What do we need to bring with us to stay in a cabin?

You will need to bring bedding as well as cooking and eating utensils. Each cabin has a dorm fridge as well as a charcoal grill and fire ring for outdoor cooking. Cooking is not allowed inside the cabins.

Is there EV charging at the campground?

We are not equipped for EV charging and do not permit charging from electrical panels on RV or tent sites.

Can we bring a golf cart or ATV to the campground?

Use of golf carts on the campground is limited to seasonal campers. ATVs or similar vehicles are not allowed on the campground.

Can we bring more than one vehicle to the campground?

As a rule, we allow one vehicle per site. If you need to bring an additional vehicle, there is parking available near the store. Feel free to call us if this may be an issue for your visit.

What are the quiet hours?

Quiet hours are from 10PM to 8AM. During this time you can still sit around the fire, but you will need to turn down the volume of your voices and music. Additionally, during quiet hours minor children need to be on their sites under adult supervision.

Are fireworks allowed on the campground?

Absolutely not. Use of explosive fireworks will lead to guest’s immediate departure from the campground.

Is drinking allowed?

We do allow responsible drinking. As we are a family campground, we frown upon lewd behavior and public displays of intoxication.

What is your marijuana policy?

While NY State may have legalized recreational marijuana use in 2021, we are a private property and do not allow use on the campground.

Are there any other general prohibitions?

Do not damage our trees with nails or screws. We do not approve of placing signs on our sites and would appreciate our guests not displaying flags with political statements.

What is you cancellation policy?

If you cancel your reservation up to 10 days before your scheduled stay, we will refund your full payment, less a $25 cancellation fee. If you cancel within the 10 day window before the scheduled check in date, there will be no refund. Holiday weekend reservations are non-refundable.

I need to change the dates of my stay- what can I do?

You can call the office to check for alternate dates. Please note that changes can be made up to 10 days before your scheduled check in. Changes cannot be made 10 days or less before the reservation date. Once a reservation is changed it cannot be changed again, and there will be no refund for a cancellation.

Do you sell firewood or ice in your store?

We sell both firewood and ice in the store, in addition to an assortment of additional camping supplies and goodies.

Can we bring our own firewood?

We do allow campers to bring in their own firewood. However, please be aware that the NYS Department of Environmental Conservation prohibits bringing untreated firewood into NYS, and to transport untreated firewood more than 50 miles from its source.

Can I run a generator in the campground?

In consideration for our guests, we do not allow the use of generators on the property.

Do you offer pump out/honey wagon services?

We offer this service for $25m which can be arranged at the main office.
