We start taking reservations for the upcoming season on February 1st.
Sorry, you must be 21 years or older to reserve a site.
Full payment is required when making the reservation.
- During the months of July and August, there is a two night minimum for weekend reservations. Holiday weekends: Memorial Day, Hill Climb and Labor Day, are three night minimums. This season (2018) there will not be a three night 4th of July weekend.
- On weekday reservations: Monday to Thursday, there are no minimum nights required.
At this point we do not offer any membership discounts.
Site occupancy is limited to a family of 5 people (2 adults and 3 children up to 18 years old), or 4 adults.
Site fee includes two adults; any additional adults will be charged $8 per night.
In addition to your RV, you can pitch a small tent for the children to camp in.
A water/electric tent site includes a 20amp outlet and a water hookup. For our RV sites we have both 30 and 50amp sites that include a water hookup. If you require 50amps, please make sure to request this when reserving. As we are not connected to a city sewer system, none of the sites have sewer hookups, and waste disposal can be performed at the dump station when departing. Honey wagon service is available upon request for an additional charge.
We limit the maximum length to 38′.
You are allowed one vehicle on the site, and there is additional parking available at the campground entrance for additional vehicles.
You need to bring any bedding (sleeping bags or sheets and blankets), cooking utensils and cookware, toiletries and towels that you may need for your stay. Each cabin has a mini fridge, a fan and heater inside, as well as a picnic table, grill, fire ring and water hookup outside.
Our check-in and check-out times are designed to assure that all of our guests’ expectations are met upon arrival, therefore, it is very important that all of our guests abide by these times. Check-in time for all campsites is 3PM. Earlier check in time can be coordinated in advance, with a charge of $2 per hour. Check-out time on the day of your departure is 1PM. If you wish to stay and enjoy the facilities after this time, you may register at the office for extended check-out. You still must vacate your site by 1PM, but extended check-out will allow you to park your vehicle in a designated area and utilize facilities until 6PM.
Yes, visitors are allowed to come in and spend time with our guests. Make sure your friends know your site number and the name the reservation is in to easily locate you. There is a $5 charge for each adult and they MUST check-in at the Main Office before entering the campground. Visitors need to depart by 11PM.
Your visitors can stay with you overnight if you are not exceeding the maximum of people on the site (2 adults + 3 children or 4 adults). There will be an overnight charge of $8 per adult and they must be registered at the main office before 7PM.
All visitors must park their cars in the visitor parking area near the campground entrance.
You can spend the day hiking the Glen, enjoying the natural waterpark. Hours are daily (except holiday weekends) from 9AM- 6PM, with 4PM being the latest you can check in. For costs, go to our Rates & Policies page on the website. We suggest calling ahead of time to ensure that the trails are open, as we do not allow hiking during inclement weather.
If you contact us more than 10 days before your reservation begins, we will either give you a full credit for a future camping date for the same season, or, give you a full refund, less a $10 cancellation fee. If you cancel 10 days or less before your scheduled arrival, no refund or credit will be given.
Payments for holiday weekends are not refundable.
We do not.
As we are a dog- friendly campground, we encourage our guests to bring their dogs along for the camping excursion on their RV or tent site, we do not allow pets in our cabins. While staying with us, your dog must be leashed at all times, cleaned up after and never be left alone at your site, in your RV or any other area of the park, as well as being kept quiet and not disturbing other guests. Please keep your dog out of the campground buildings/facilities and away from the playground. Proof of rabies vaccination should be provided upon request.
Because the campground is full of active families with children, the speed limit throughout the campground is 5MPH and is strongly enforced for your safety. If you do not feel that you are driving ridiculously slow, then you are driving too fast.
Presently, our internet infrastructure does not support Wi-Fi for our guests.
For safety and liability reasons, guests are not permitted to bring any personal motorized vehicles into the campground.
Campfires are allowed in the designated fire rings only, which are located on each site. Campfires should not be left unattended and need to be extinguished before retiring for the night.
In accordance with NYS regulations, untreated firewood cannot be transported more than 50 miles from its point of origin. We do offer firewood for sale in the camp store.
In consideration for all our guests, we do not allow use of generators. As we have recently upgraded our electrical infrastructure, any and all of your power needs should be met by our system.
We collect empty bottles and cans for recycling, with the proceeds going to our kids’ activity fund. Blue recycle bins are located next to the store for this specific purpose. There are two large dumpsters at the campground entrance for trash disposal, which we lock after dark to prevent visits from unwanted guests.
Fireworks, and Explosives are not allowed in the campground under any circumstances.
This is a family park and, as long as you are of legal age, the use of alcohol is limited to your own site and should not be brought into any of our common areas. As with anything else, we request that alchohol be consumed in moderation, as any drunken and/or unruly behavior will not be tolerated.
Our Quiet Hours are from 11PM – 8AM and are strictly enforced. During this time you can continue to enjoy your campfire and friends, but need to turn down the volume of any music and fireside chatter. During the rest of the day, any music played should not be heard beyond your site.
Yes, there is. We sell a wide variety of soft drinks & snacks, ice, firewood as well as some of those little necessities you may have forgotten, sunscreen, basic toiletries etc.
We have a lovely playground, open during the daytime and closes at dark for all ages.
We have a rec hall with arcade games, open during the day from 9AM until 10PM.
All children under the age 18 must be on their sites and under adult supervision from 10PM until 8AM. Parents are responsible for their childrens’ behavior and safety at all times. Children under 5 years of age must have adult supervision at all times.
Bicycles are welcome to be used during daylight hours. All children age 14 and under must abide by NY State law and wear a bike helmet when riding.
We have showers in our main bathroom facility which are metered, $.25 for 4 minutes.
Camping is an outdoor activity; therefore, we do not give refunds due to discomforts of nature or premature departure on your part.
UR Medicine/Noyes Health facility is a regional hospital with all the facilities necessary for any medical emergency. It is located just six miles from the campground, on Route 36 just past the entrance ramp to 390 North.
